Email inquiry import with Airbnb

Setup
  1. Go to http://app.kigo.net/ra/email_inquiry_import.php
    NOTICE: Only confirmed bookings from Airbnb are imported into Kigo.
  2. Inform the Room ID of each of your properties advertised in Airbnb:

    The IDs from Airbnb can be retrieved in the address bar:

  3. Copy your Kigo reservation inbox address:

  4. Log into your Airbnb account, go to Profile
     
  5. In the field Email Address of the Profile, paste your Kigo email address:

  6. click Save.
  7. To edit the related email notifications (they are active by default), please go to: http://app.kigo.net/ra/res_email_templates.php?NOTIFICATIONS 
    and select  the sub-tab called Triggered byEmail inquiry import, where you will find a few default templates.

    I receive to time this message "Dear .................

    This is an automated message to inform you that Kigo could not import a reservation/inquiry from AirBnB due to the following reason:

    Unable to parse message."

    whats wrong? 

    I have to insert manually the reservation. Please tell me what should I do.

    Hi'

    We suggest you create a ticket including the email you received from AirBNB. This way we will be able to analyze why the email import failed.

    So now that I have replaced my email address with "inquiries+xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@mail.kigo.net" in Airbnb will I still get all the emails I would otherwise from Airbnb (notification emails for messages, requests, inquiries etc..)?

    Hi'

    All emails send to inquiries+xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx@mail.kigo.net will be forwarded either to your account email address or to a custom email address.
    Please login to your Kigo solution » click on "Email inquiry import" » enter the forward email address and click save.

    Hello,

    I understand that it is not possible to update the Kigo calendars moving from a reservation made in Kigo. Correct?

    Considering that within Airbnb it is not possible to exchange mail addresses and phone numbers before the reservation is made, what's the benefit to import the enquires in Kigo? I mean, would I be allowed to answer the inquires and visualize their potential value through Kigo or should I in any case log-in in Airbnb to answer?

    Hi'

    A reservation done directly in Kigo can be modified. Click on the reservation number and enter new values.
    The reservation - once completed in AirBNB - can be send to your Kigo solution. For you it will mean that you have all your bookings kept in one location as well as having the overview in your calendar.

    To confirm, inquiries are not parsed into Kigo to respond via Kigo portal (like homeaway, flipkey, etc). We will still have to communicate and send offers through the AIRBNB website.

    This update is only good for when a client confirms a reservation on AIRBNB and it will be parsed into KIGO under confirmed?

    That is correct. AirBNB does not give access to these features.

    Hi,

    I did all as you show it in instructions but there is one thing. If I have changed in my profile on Airbnb my email it will also has to be changed during the login proces.

    Yes - you can use the email address for login or alternatively use the other login feature they offer (loging with facebook credentials)
