Hold dates & Confirmed

When the guest asks for payment details, change reservation status from inquiry to hold dates. In Hold dates send payment instructions (if you are using PayPal, send a payment link), the contract (in email or attachment) or invoice by Kigo email.

Change status to confirmed when the guest makes down payment or signs the contract.
In Confirmed send down payment receipt and check-in details by Kigo email.

Other Kigo emails that can be sent:

  • Arrival time check
  • Check-in reminder
  • Remaining payment reminder and invoice
  • Remaining payment receipt
  • Thank you note for the stay

 

In the case of an online booking the process is practically automatized since the status of a reservation is confirmed when the guest makes a down payment.
